Julie and All Africa Tours did a wonderful job organizing a tour for our group of U.S. graduate students.
Julie assisted us with a complicated 2 week itinerary that included travel by land and air, two border crossings, multiple educational experiences, and three different safari trips. The trip was perfect.
As a former educator, Julie has an especially good sense of how to organize an itinerary that includes both learning and fun. She really listened to me and understood my educational objectives for this tour as evidenced by her fantastic judgement in selecting experiences for us. Not only did she accommodate all of my requests, but she was extremely creative and helpful in suggesting and adding experiences that greatly enhanced the trip. Thanks to Julie, my students enjoyed unforgettable and, in some cases, life changing experiences.
Julie’s advice and planning evidenced a great depth of knowledge about the travel industry and very high standards. She knows what is good and she selects it for her clients. The private (but affordable!) safari lodge to which she sent us was excellent. At the camp, our guide’s dedication to conservation, knowledge of nature, and hospitality were singular. The bus company and driver assigned to us was incredibly professional and added greatly to our tour. Our guide for Soweto was highly personable and knowledgeable. Accommodations were comfortable, unique, beautiful, and well organized.
Julie was also very professional and proactive with her communications. I must confess that I sometimes fulfil the stereotype of an absent minded professor, but every detail and deadline was handled in a smooth, timely fashion thanks to Julie’s persistent but polite reminders. While we were on tour, Julie repeatedly checked in via text to make sure that all was well. My co-organizer remarked that she seemed to be clairvoyant, as I heard from her at each key point in our trip, exactly on time.
We plan to be repeat customers and would recommend her highly to all other travel groups, whether leisure or educational.
