Janel Brown, Grade 6 teacher

Grade 8 & 9 Cape Town

Day 1: Flight to CT, Castle of Good Hope, District Six Museum, City Tour, V & A Waterfront
Day 2: Peninsula Tour – Atlantic Seaboard, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape Point Ostrich Farm, Boulders Beach and penguins
Day 3: Hike up Platterklip Gorge, cable car down Table Mountain, Two Ocean’s Aquarium, Cape Malay cuisine
Day 4: Robben Island, flight to Joburg

“Our stay at Cape Town was a mind-blowing experience made better by our expert guide Manuella `Grandi. The stunning icon mountain ranges, natural wonders, thrilling landscapes and ocean vistas speak for themselves, but Manuella was the glue that put the picture together. She painted a Picasso in our minds using her depth of knowledge and interesting tales of the development of Cape Town. Her administrative skills are impeccable, but they are second to her human relations skills and easy going nature. She handled all situations with composure and poise. We will never forget the experience she gifted us. Thank you!”
Grade 8 teachers

“The overall trip was impressive. The itinerary captured the true spirit of Cape Town. However there is room for a stronger educational focus, linking real life examples to school subjects. Well done on an amazing trip. Special mention of Bokaap Kombuis for fantastic service and food.”
