American School of Dubai

We are back – with a new set of 43 middle schoolers from ASD in Dubai. The itinerary has been updated to include a ‘real safari experience’ at Addo Elephant National Park outside Port Elizabeth.

The tour starts in Cape Town – sightseeing and visiting all the touristy places, but it also incorporates an outreach project in Manenberg and Gugulethu where we link up with the youth there. We visit them for an opportunity to share our vastly different life styles and cultures. What can we learn from each other? We also get to spend a day with our new friends at the V&A Waterfront.

The tour then takes us to Addo outside Port Elizabeth and then we journey down the Garden Route to Knysna. Lots of outdoor activities are planned along the way. Last stop is a visit to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo and home to ostrich farming and the famous Cango Caves.
