Never having been to France or Italy before, All Africa Tours customised a trip for Vita and Albert. We helped to incorporate Paris, Venice, winelands, Provence, a little of Tuscany and French coastal towns that they had always wanted to visit.

Day 1: Arrive in Paris and drive to Saulieu
Day 2 + 3: Explore the Burgundy District with its rich vineyards and the Morvan forests home of the Resistance during WW II.
Day 4: Drive to Annecy
Day 5: Hire bicycles and explore Lake Annecy. Visit the waterfront area at night with its canals and numerous restaurants and delis.
Day 6: Drive to Menerbes
Day 7 + 8: Soak up the ambience of Provence with its lavender fields, cuisine and culture.
Day 9: Drive to Nice. Walk the boulevard at night along the Riviera
Day 10: Drive to Sestri Levante along the Riviera in Italy
Day 11: 6 hour hike – Cinque Terre from Monterosso to Riomaggiore – through 4 villages and along steep seaside cliff faces.
Day 12: Drive to Certaldo in Tuscany through Pisa and Lucca
Day 13: Catch a train into Florence home of the arts – the statue of David, jewellery and leather shops and magnificent Piazzas
Day 14: Drive to Verona
Day 15: Explore the lakes and northern Italy
Day 16: Drive to Venice
Day 17 + 18: Soak up the romantic atmosphere along the waterways of Venice, enjoy a gondola ride
Day 19: Fly back to Paris
Day 20 + 21: Paris – walk the boulevards, taste the foods, view the arts – the Mona Lisa in the Lourve, climb the Eiffel Tower and visit the Palace of Versailles
Day 22: Fly back home with memories of a life time
