For those with a tighter budget, over-landing is an affordable way to see Africa. One can overland, camping or in lodges. Your transport and meals are all catered for when you overland. We don’t suggest you do Africa on your own as often the roads are treacherous and recovery is difficult. Touring with a group of 4×4 vehicles is preferable. Another way to do Africa is to fly in and we hire a local tour company.
